The German premium photo lab WhiteWall – best known for its high-end photo printing, wall decor and framing – has now launched coffee-table books for the fall, 2024, season. The company says its books are distinguished from the competition due to high-resolution inkjet printing on fine-art paper, without logos or barcodes on the back cover. WhiteWall Coffee Table Book offers two options: silver-halide Fujifilm photo paper and inkjet papers, available in six selected brand qualities. The inkjet papers, are available in glossy, high-gloss, and silk matte.
The use of inkjet printing for Coffee Table Books is a specialty in the international market, and WhiteWall is one of the few providers offering this advanced printing method, the company claims. The panoramic lay-flat binding minimizes the fold, making it ideal for large-format photographs spread across double pages.
The WhiteWall Coffee Table Books have three cover finishes: silk matte or glossy and a new printed linen hardcover. The hardcover has a material thickness of 3 millimeters and thus conveys the elegance and exquisite feel of a high-quality art book, the company said. The design options for the cover are completely free and offer limitless creative possibilities. In addition, the inside of the cover can be designed in a modern and stylish white or classically elegant black as standard.
The WhiteWall Coffee Table Book is available from 28 pages – expandable in increments of 4 pages – up to 200 pages.
Coffee table book sizes include “Portfolio A3″ format (portrait format: 10.6 x 14 in., landscape format: 15 x 11.4 in.); “Exhibition A4 portrait” (8.1 x 10.6 in.); “Exhibition A4 landscape” (10.6 x 8.1 in.); “Story Square” (8.1 x 8.1 in.) and the “Gallery Square” (11.4 x 11.4 in.)
